No one lives here. No one ever did. Yet the windows glow. The path winds toward doors that have never opened. The ghosts do not haunt, they simply wait, as if expecting someone who forgot to arrive.

I set this as my lock screen three nights ago. Each time I wake the display, the ghosts have shifted. Not much. Just enough to notice. The bat near the top left is lower now. The gravestone in the corner tilts further. I checked the file. It has not changed. I am certain of that.
